Transfer of Qualifications (from Old NCCP to New NCCP)
For more information on the coaching certifications and the transition from the Old NCCP to the New NCCP please review the following documents:
For the 2010 season, coaches wishing to coach at the following levels require the following certification.
Canada Cup- All coaches certified at the Provincial Level + 6 Competition Development Modules.
Senior Men- All coaches trained at Provincial Level.
Midget- One coach certified at Regional Level.
Bantam AAA Boys- One coach trained at Provincial Level (3 regional coach modules plus 2 additional modules- pitching/catching and strategies), all other coaches trained at Regional Level.
Pee-Wee AAA Boys- For 2010, all coaches trained at Regional Level.
Mosquito AAA Boys- 1 coach certified at Initiation Level plus teaching and learning module of Regional coach, other coaches trained at Initiation Level.
All AA Levels- All coaches certified at Initiation Level. Baseball PEI will be offering a number of coaching courses this Spring. Before you attend a coaching course, you are to take the Initiation Program as outlined below.

Welcome to Baseball Canada’s NCCP intiation program . Baseball Canada is proud to introduce this program in order to better prepare you for the upcoming season.
For only $37.45, you will be able to access an online library of information and coaching drills for your training purposes. Following your online course work, you will have the opportunity to put the teaching you have learned into practice during a four-hour clinic that will give you the "trained" status within this particular context of coaching.
To begin the online component of Baseball Canada’s initiation program, simply visit http://nccp.baseball.ca and follow the appropriate links.
If you do not have a VISA/MC to pay on line, send Baseball PEI payment (cash/cheq) for an access code.
*The on-line component of the Initiation Certification Program is required in order to attend the local Initiation clinics offered by Baseball PEI.

Contact president Don LeClair . Police Check Form Depending on where you live in PEI will determine where you must go to obtain this form as you are only able to receive this form in person. For residents that reside in the City of Charlottetown, you must visit the Charlottetown Police Department at 10 Kirkwood Drive with a valid photo ID. For residents that reside in Queens County (excluding City of Charlottetown), you are to visit Queens District RCMP at 153 Maypoint Rd with a valid photo ID. For residents that reside in Kings County, you are to visit the RCMP Brudenell Detachment with a valid photo ID.
