Baseball PEI Awards Night - RESCHEDULED due to STORM - Next Wednesday Feb 24th
Baseball PEI will be holding their annual Awards Night on Wednesday February 24th at the Rodd Royalty Inn, Charlottetown. The evening will start at 7:00 pm and will include a number of awards based on the 2009 season. The awards night will include ADL/Sport PEI Certificates of Achievement, and two Baseball Canada awards. The night will also include a meal and a special guest speaker. Due to meal arrangements, everyone is asked to RSVP with Baseball PEI by 9:00am Monday 22nd. |

Baseball PEI is the host Province for the 2010 Baseball Canada National Pee Wee East Championships --- To apply to host this event, deadline to express interest to Baseball PEI in writing is 4:00pm on January 31st, 2010. |

Baseball PEI Fall Identification Camps
Baseball PEI will be holding fall identification camps for all players who played Bantam baseball or first year Midget this season, in preparation for next year's Canada Cup Championship being held in Ontario. The third Youth Select Identification Camp will be held on Sunday, October 11th from 10:00-12:00 at Kowalski Field in Lower Freetown (Bedeque). Nominate a Youngster for the Rally Cap Player of the Week
At the end of the season, Baseball Canada will draw at random from all the Player of the Week nominees it receives for a trip for two to Toronto which includes transportation, one night hotel accommodations, two tickets for two Blue Jays games and two official Baseball Canada hats. |

Pee Wee Eliminations Tournament - SUMMERSIDE WINS
Congratuations to the Summerside Pee Wee AAA team on winning the National Elimination tournament earlier today. The Summerside team will now represent PEI at the Baseball Canada National Pee Wee Championships August 21-24 in Vaughan, Ontario...Summerside beat Charlottetown 5-3 in the final. |

Bantam National Elimination - MORELL WINS
Congratuations to the Morell Bantam AAA team on winning the National Elimination tournament this past weekend. The Morell team will now represent PEI at the Baseball Canada National Bantam Championships August 14-17 in Mascouche, Quebec...Morell beat Summerside in the final 5-3. |
