Contest is slated for Thursday night in Morell

The Kings County Baseball League will hold its first-ever all-star game Thursday night in Morell.

Game time is 6 p.m.
Each team picked four players to participate. 
Morell Chevies, Northside Brewers, Stratford Murphy’s Pharmacy and Georgetown Giants will be represented on KCBL Team A.
KCBL Team B will include players from Peakes Bombers, P.E.I. Canada Games team, Charlottetown Cannons and the P.E.I. Youth Selects.
The KCBL?Team A?selections are:
Morell - Grant Doyle, Troy Coffin, Derrick Plaggenhoef, Scott Ellsworth. 
Northside - Garret VanDiepien, Brandon MacInnis, Steven MacInnis, D.J. Dunn. 
Stratford - Shawn MacDougall, Jason Doyle, Jordan Duffy, John Walsh.  
Georgetown - Darin Mitchell, Howard McMaster, Jacob Smith, Adam Smith. 
The KCBL?Team B?selections are:
Peakes - Rob Phelan, Colin Myers, Josh Coffin, Trevor McAree. 
Canada Games - Brodie MacDonald, Alex Abbott, Neal Sherren, Ben Cameron. 
Charlottetown - Travis Gaudet, Nick Hann, Ryan Stevens, Chad McKay. 
Youth Selects - Jordan Stevenson, Dillon Doucette, Peter MacLeod, Steve Corcoran.
Coaches are Derrick Plaggenhoef (Team A) and Jeremy MacDonald (Team B).
Public address announcer will be the “Granddaddy of the KCBL All-Stars” — Ken (Trixie) Dunn.
During the game the hat will be pass around and all proceeds collected will go to the local food bank.
