Stevenson Playing Professional Baseball in Germany

JP Stevenson is heading to Germany.

Stevenson, the native of New Glasgow, finished up his NCAA Division I career in 2018 winning the MAAC Conference Pitcher of the Year Award, leading Canisius College to a MAAC Conference championships (statistics: https://d1baseball.com/player/R799gnkh/j.p.-stevenson/). With his performance, he was named – for the second year-in-a-row – to the all-Canadian first-team as a lefthanded pitcher.

After a short stint during the summer with Les Capitales du Quebec in the Can-Am League, Stevenson has signed with the Dohren Wild Farmers. The Wild Farmers are based out of the village of Dohren, in northern Germany, and play in the Germany First-Division Baseball Bundesliga, North Division. The 28-game season will begin in early April and go until late August.
