2020 Baseball PEI Awards - Presented by ADL and Sport PEI

Karli Snow had a great 2019 season, being one of two 12-year-old players on the Provincial 16U Girls team at the Baseball Canada National 16U Girls Championships and being a leader on her Summerside 13U “AA” Chevys. Her 2020 season was even better. Snow had a very good season with the Summerside 13U “AAA” Chevys, providing solid defence and a timely bat. With the Provincial 16U Girls team, playing in the 15U “A” league, Karli was terrific. At the plate, as a 13-year-old player – on a 16U team – she led the team with hits (10), RBIs (11), batting average (.556), on-base percentage (.704), slugging (.722), OPS (1.426), tied for first in doubles (3), second in runs (9) and third in stolen bases (5). Pitching-wise, Karli Snow was excellent too. Of the five wins the Provincial 16U Girls team recorded in the Provincial 15U “A” league, Snow recorded a record of 4-0, striking out 22 batters and walking only 4 in 15.2 innings. Despite her age, Karli is an extremely hard worker, ferociously competitive, a leader on the Provincial 16U Girls team and arguably the top female player in the province. As such, Karli Snow is the 2020 Baseball PEI Junior Female Athlete of the Year, presented by ADL and Sport PEI!
