Baseball PEI Passes Resolutions and Welcomes New Board of Directors at AGM

Baseball PEI held its 2017 Annual General Meeting last night, with several important resolutions passed. Some of the important resolutions passed include:

  • Changes to rules at the 13U/Peewee and 15U/Bantam “A” categories
  • Changes to the Affiliate Player rules
  • Changes to the maximum runs scored per inning at the “A” and “AA” categories
  • All Baseball PEI representatives will be determined at Elimination tournaments
  • Changes to “AA” and “A” round-robins at Provincial Championships

As well, a new Board of Directors was elected last night. Former Director of 13U/Peewee Competitions Ken Gaudet and President Don LeClair decided not to re-offer. The new Board of Directors of Baseball PEI is as follows:

  • President: Walter MacEwen
  • Director of Provincial Teams: Janet Cameron
  • Director of Administration and Skill Development: Spencer Myers
  • Director of 11U/Mosquito Competitions: Darrel Kirev
  • Director of 13U/Peewee Competitions: John Munro
  • Director of 15U/Bantam and 18U/Midget Competitions: Allison Macdonald

Baseball PEI would like to thank all of those who attended, as well as welcome all new members of the Board of Directors. Also, Baseball PEI would like to thank Ken Gaudet and Don LeClair for their years of dedication and service to baseball on Prince Edward Island.
