2020 Craswell and MacLean Bursary Application Now Available

The application for the 2020 Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean Bursary is now available. The deadline for submission of applications is 22 June 2020.

The Bursary is for "a student/player who has been a registered member of Baseball PEI for a minimum of three years" and is "awarded to a student/player intending to pursue his baseball career along with his education at a baseball academy/institution outside of the province of Prince Edward Island. This player, who in the judgment of the Baseball PEI Bursary Committee, best demonstrates characteristics of leadership, commitment to the sport of baseball and has a strong value for education."

PEI Youth Selects Hosting Annual TCMM Tournament in June

The 2019 PEI Youth Selects are hosting the Annual Tanner Craswell/Mitch MacLean Memorial Tournament from 21 – 23 June 2019 in Charlottetown and Stratford, PE.

The TCMM tournament is held annually to honour the memory of Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean who died tragically on 15 December 2011 (https://www.theguardian.pe.ca/news/local/angels-in-the-outfield-remembering-mitch-maclean-tanner-craswell-1428/).

This tournament is open to any High-Performance teams (Provincial 17U/Canada Cup teams, Provincial 18U teams), 21U/or 18U "AAA" teams. The registration fee for the tournament is $475 plus three baseballs.

Baseball PEI P.D. Camp Scheduled for Friday, 12 April Has Been Cancelled

The Baseball PEI Girls P.D. Day camp scheduled for this Friday, 12 April 2019 at the Norton-Diamond Indoor Soccer Complex in Stratford has been cancelled.
